The Terp517 blog
The Terp Report
The Terp Report is where Terp517 publishes its full articles. Each one takes a single question about cannabis in Michigan, usually a number on a label or a claim on a jar, and works it through: what a lab measured, what researchers have shown, what consumers report, what the marketing says and what's still unknown.
Most pieces are written by Marcus Hale, our cannabis science and Michigan culture writer. We cover terpenes, cannabinoids, lab testing, cultivation science and the state's cannabis rules, with an eye on Lansing and the rest of the 517.
We publish when a piece is ready, not to hit a quota. The first article is below. The headlines further down come from other cannabis publications we read every week.
